Swedesboro, N.J. -- A very popular fight manager, Bob Botto, passed away at his home early this morning. Botto managed many contenders including Randy Mack, Johnny 'Dancin' Machine' Carter, Mike 'Machine Gun' Mungin and worked with a number of prospects during the last four decades.

Botto handled super middleweight Omar Pittman, the 13-3-1 contender from North Philadelphia. Pittman boxed on a Top Rank card at the New Alhambra Center in Philadelphia on Jan. 11.

Botto was the owner of C.W. Brown Sausage Co., which distributed worldwide. He was the owner and operator of Botto's Italian Line Restaurant at 1411 Kings Highway, Swedesboro, N.J.
