22-year-old flyweight prospect Jonathan Gonzalez (13-1, 11KOs) of Puerto Rico is looking to make major changes to his corner after suffering the first loss of his career last week in Isla Verde. Gonzalez stepped up in class to face former champion Giovani Segura of Mexico, who many felt was beyond his best. Segura had more than enough to score three knockdowns before stopping Gonzalez in the fourth.

Gonzalez is now hunting for a new trainer. According to Carlos Narvaez, the young fighter is very interested in retaining the services of Robert Garcia, who trains. Brandon Rios, Mikey Garcia. Nonito Donaire and Marcos Maidana.
