Manchester trainer Bob Shannon has moved to Ricky Hatton’s Hyde gym. The hugely respected trainer works with a number of Hatton’s boxers. Shannon has told The Daily Star that he hopes the gym link-up will give his fighters every possible chance of success.
“I’m delighted with the move,” confirmed Shannon. “Not only can I continue to offer my fighters my boxing knowledge and expertise but I can now do it in a modern gym with world class facilities. I have high hopes for my fighters and expect Andy Morris, Denton Vassell, Jonny Rocco, David Barnes and Prince Aaron to be challenging for titles at some point this year.”
