Three Australian boxers have fought in the United States in the recent weeks and all have lost by knockout, so...the WBC's super middleweight champion, Aussie Sakio Bika, insists he'll stop the downward spiral for his country by handsomely defeating American, Anthony Dirrell, this Saturday at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.
Bika and Dirrell will grace the ring for a second time, after fighting to an exciting and competitive twelve round draw last December.
“I'm going to change a lot of my style for this fight. I'm going to prove I'm better than Anthony, and this time it'll be by a clear victory. I've worked so hard every day to get to where I am, and now I am a WBC champion. I have no doubt I'll keep my belt," confidently assured the champion, adding:
"Lately, Australian boxers have been defeated, but I'll end this losing streak on Saturday. I don't care that the fight is in California. I've proved I can win anywhere, and this time will be no exception."
