WBC super middleweight champion Sakio Bika (32-5-3, 21KOs) is hoping that his mandatory challenger, Anthony Dirrell (26-0-1, 22KOs), decides to stand and trade on Saturday night at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

The fight will be a rematch of last December's contest, where the two boxers went to a twelve round draw. The fight, which took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, left both fighters with the belief of victory.

“I’m not going to change too much. I’m coming out to fight. I don’t want to run around and chase him. I’m going to show Anthony that I’m ready to do exactly what I’ve always done: to make people happy to see me fight. If he wants to take my belt off of me he better come prepared,” Bika said.

Bika has not switched around much of anything in training camp. He plans to stick to his game plan and believes that above everything else will bring home the victory.

"The main thing I have to do is keep working hard every day and getting my rest when I can. I’ll be ready for Anthony. I always come to fight. I’m sure that I’m doing everything the way that I’m supposed to. And I’m training hard with my team so that I can defend and retain my belt,” Bika said.

“Kevin [Cunningham] and I always do the same thing. He keeps me positive, focused and working very hard to get ready for Aug.16.”
