NABA light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev (6-0, 6KOs) could return to action on a date in December, according to his brother and coach Abakar Beterbiev.
Last month Beterbiev turned a lot of heads when he knocked out former IBF champion Tavoris Cloud in two rounds at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.
Beterbiev's return is being discussed for the planned undercard for the ring return of WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson.
"Artur's next fight is scheduled for the second half of December," said the coach. "After the last victory, he rose significantly in the rankings, and now promoters are considering the candidacy of his possible opponents."
"The organizers want Artur's return to be placed on the same card with the world champion by the WBC, Adonis Stevenson. They are both under the same promotional company [Yvon Michel of GYM]."
