During a recent interview, WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto gave his take on the upcoming fight between Shane Mosley and Floyd Mayweather Jr. Berto was going to fight Mosley on January 30. He withdrew to tend to his family members that were affected by the tragedy in Haiti. Mosley would later agree to fight Mayweather on May 1 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Berto says Mosley has to keep Mayweather uncomfortable at all times and never let him establish a rhythm.
"It's going to be a tremendous fight either way it goes. With Shane, he can't let Floyd get comfortable. When Floyd gets comfortable, if he gets in to his mode, it's going to be a long night for Shane. For Floyd, if he goes in there and imposes that speed and imposes that strength, and sticks to his game plan it's going to be a good fight," Mosley told AOL's FanHouse.
