Floyd Mayweather (48-0, 26 knockouts) is only a few days away from defending his WBC/WBA welterweight titles against former two-time world champion Andre Berto, on Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The fight is being pushed as the final contest of Mayweather's career. Mayweather says he took the fight finish off his exclusive six fight deal with Showtime/CBS. Many were surprised to see him come back and fight in September after earning $300 million dollars for his fight with Manny Pacquiao on May 2nd.
Mayweather is widely expected to fight again at some point in the next six months. Very few people believe Mayweather is going to pack up his bags for good.
Berto (30-3, 23 KOs) is among the many who think Mayweather is going to continue his career.
"No [I don't think he's going to retire]. He's a guy who doesn't really strike me as someone who wants to quit," Berto said.
