Frank Warren Promotions will kick off the New Year in style with a mouth-watering rematch between KO specialists Tony Bellew and Ovill McKenzie.

The pair will battle it out for Bellew's Commonwealth light-heavyweight crown - as well as the British title recently vacated by Nathan Cleverly.

It's a return of their thrilling slugfest in Liverpool, which saw Bellew down in the first and second rounds before rallying to win by halting brave McKenzie.

"I made mistakes in that fight, no doubt about it," said Bellew ahead of the fight at Bethnal Green's York Hall on Saturday 19th February.

"But this time around I'm going to knock him out nice and early and not give him a chance to get into the fight.

"I showed in Liverpool that I could take his power - and he showed that when I land on his jaw, he can't take mine."

The fight will also be the first time the champion has fought at the home of London boxing.

And Liverpool's hottest prospect says there's no better time to make his east end debut.

"Every boxer in Britain wants to fight at Bethnal Green once in their career," said the unbeaten 28-year-old.

"To defend my title on the top of the bill there is a dream come true.

"It's something I've thought about since I first pulled on a pair of boxing gloves as a kid.

"Everyone is going to see a very special performance.

"The fans have got value for money the last few times I have fought.

"It's given my friends and family a few nervous moments, but I'm in the sport to be an entertainer.

"They deserve an easier night ringside though, and this time I'll knock out McKenzie without getting caught myself.

"2011 is a big year for me because not only do I want to add to my Commonwealth title, by the end of it I can see myself fighting Nathan Cleverly for at least one world title."

Bellew will be joined on the card by Larry Olubamiwo and John McDermott, who will duke it out for the Southern Area Heavyweight Championship.

And 2006 Commonwealth Games champion Jamie Cox returns to action, as does 2007 World Amateur Champion Frankie Gavin.

Ronnie Heffron, Vinny Mitchell, Bradley Skeete, Ahmet Patterson, Billy Morgan and Freddie 'Luke' Turner complete the card.
