Tony Bellew insists that his eventual fight with WBO Nathan Cleverly will be bigger than DeGale-Groves.

The Scouser meets Ovill McKenzie for the British and Commonwealth light-heavyweight titles on July 16 at the Liverpool Echo Arena.

But Bellew is already thinking of a clash with Cleverly.

The pair were due to meet at the O2 Arena last month, but Bellew couldn't make the weight after coming in as a last minute replacement for Juergen Braehmer.

"I can't look ahead of my fight against McKenzie," said unbeaten Bomber.

"But I want on record that I want Cleverly by the end of the year.

"Ever since that press conference where we nearly came to blows, everyone has been asking me when we are going to get it on.

"When we do fight, it will be the biggest domestic fight of the year, bar none.

"It will beat DeGale-Groves hands down.

"I don't like Cleverly, he doesn't like me, and I want to smash him to pieces."
