WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew (28-2-1, 18 KOs) has already packed on the mass for his upcoming grudge fight with David Haye (28-2, 26 KOs).
Bellew and Haye will collide on March 4th from The O2 Arena in London, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
To make the fight happen, Bellew is heading up to the heavyweight division to face Haye on his turf. Haye is a former unified cruiserweight world champion and former WBA heavyweight champion. The two boxers have been feuding for most of 2016.
Bellew has been following the camp of Haye, who traveled over to the United States to hold his camp in Miami, Florida.
There have been a lot of social media photos of Haye enjoying the beach and soaking up the sun - which Bellew believes is a big mistake. Bellew is a very big underdog in the contest, and some observers have even called the contest a mismatch.
Haye has already predicted a vicious knockout victory in four rounds. Bellew has also predicted a knockout victory and he doesn't believe Haye is taking the fight very seriously with his ongoing behavior in Florida.
Speaking exclusively to Sky Sports, Bellew said: “I’m in great shape and am ready to go. At the moment, I am 225-pounds and my preparation is fantastic.
“While he [Haye] is posing in the sun, I am grafting in the cold, but it is what it is, we will see. I wouldn’t change my location for the world, I am a proud Scouser and love going to Goodison Park every other week to watch Everton. I’m not a poser or one for the beach, especially in winter, I’m more of a family man who likes to be at home. I graft very hard and get that work done at home, I won’t be posing for any Baywatch auditions any time soon.”
