BoxingScene.com has leared that former champion Jorge Barrios (48-4-1, 34KOs) will likely face veteran Michael Lozada (33-5-1, 26KOs) on November 21 in Argentina. HBO Plus will televise the card. The fight will be the second for Barrios since last September's TKO loss to Rocky Juarez.

Barrios took a moment to throw a few verbal jabs at his lightweight rival, WBC champion Edwin Valero (25-0, 25KOs). He's been going hard at Valero since the near-altercation at the press conference to announce this past April's "Lightweight Lightning" pay-per-view. Valero has made some headlines in the last two weeks. BoxingScene.com reported last week that Valero was arrested in Venezuala for allegedly attacking his mother and sister during a heated argument.

"I've always told you Valero's own mother would not buy a ticket to see him fight. Now you know why. Valero is a f*ggot and a prostitute. He is a communist and now even worse - he also beats his own mother. If Valero has the balls to put down his liquor bottle for one minute and sign a contract, I will show him that I’m a lot tougher than some defenseless old lady," Barrios said.
