Unbeaten light heavyweight contender Sullivan Barrera (17-0, 12KOs) has ripped into Olympic gold medal winner Andre Ward (28-0, 15KOs), claiming a delay in sending over the bout agreement.

Ward took to the social networks, stating that someone was "leaking" information to the press and his next opponent has yet to be set.

"Premature information being leaked to the media. I don't know who my next opponent for my next fight is. I have no contract," Ward stated.

Barrera responded, ripping at Ward with the following: "Andre Ward, stop [trying to] find [an] excuse. Tell [your] promoter to send [the] contract. Is your promoter Jay Z or JC Penny?"

Ward has only fought once November 2013. He returned last June to gain a ninth round stoppage win over Paul Smith. A few months later he signed a three fight agreement with HBO, which includes a move up in weight to 175-pounds and a fight with WBO/IBF/WBA champion Sergey Kovalev this coming fall. Ward was scheduled to fight on the Saul Alvarez-Miguel Cotto PPV undercard last November, but withdrew with a knee issue.

Barrera is the mandatory challenger to Kovalev. The Cuban fighter won a final eliminator last month after gaining a stoppage win over Germany's Karo Murat.
