Last week a war of words erupted on BoxingScene.com between IBF welterweight champion Randall Bailey and his upcoming challenger Devon Alexander.

Bailey took to Twitter and said to Alexander, "Don't count on fighting in your hometown. Pack your bags." which obviously means that he doesn't plan on facing Alexander in his hometown of St. Louis.

Kevin Cunningham, Alexander's manager and trainer, responded by saying - "We will fight Randall Bailey on Mars if we have to. It doesn't matter where the fight is.  Come September 8th, he's getting his ass whooped."

After hearing Cunningham's statements, Bailey issued a statement of his own to BoxingScene.

"Kevin [is] gonna do a lot of yelling in that corner talking all that sh*t and he's not the one backing it up."

Bailey was taking a shot at Cunningham, who does a lot more talking than the laid back Alexander.

Bailey-Alexander takes place on September 8th on Showtime. Per BoxingScene's Ernest Gabion, Peter Quillin versus Marco Antonio Rubio may open up the televised broadcast.
