BoxingScene.com was informed about the comeback of featherweight Baha Laham of Montreal (6-0). Inactive since 2009, Laham, who was a four time golden gloves champion in the amateurs, recently signed a deal with Eye of the Tiger Management, who currently have such fighters like mandatory WBC heavyweight challenger Berman Stiverne (21-1-1) and the prospect Dierry Jean (19-0-0) in their ranks.
"Baha has returned to training full time for about [the last] six weeks," says the owner of the firm, Camille Estephan. "He trains under the supervision of Russ Anber and he's been sparring with Kevin Lavallée. Everything is going very well. He is very motivated and I think he will soon be ready to go in the ring. "
Eye of the Tiger is currently evaluating the opportunity to present a show at the end of September. In the last few months, Eye of the Tiger has already presented two boxing events at the Corona Theatre in Montreal. This time, however, the card could be staged in the West Island of Montreal.
