Hall-of-famer Azumah Nelson has given some advice to his countryman, and new IBF welterweight champion Joshua Clottey. He wants Clottey to continue his mentality of a hungry challenger as he continues to march forward in the welterweight division. Nelson feels that Clottey has the skills to be the top dog at 147.

“He knew what he did to become a champion and he must not depart from it. This time he needs to have the mentality of a challenger and continue to train just as hard as he did towards the fight," Nelson said to Graphic Sports. He must remember that champions need to work harder to keep their title. He needs to do even better than ever to retain his title."
