Austin Trout (24-0, 14KOs), the WBA's "regular" junior middleweight champion, is looking to defend his belt against the mandatory challenger - interim beltholder Anthony Mundine (43-4, 25KOs) of Australia. Mundine is looking to become a star in America and recently visited the offices of Top Rank, looking to get a promotional deal in place. He even enlisted the help of trainer Jeff Fenech

"All Mundine has to do is accept. I'm ready for my mandatory," Trout said.

During a recent with Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, on BoxingScene.com, Mundine was mentioned as a potential foe for WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., who faces Marco Antonio Rubio next month.

"If we can't do Cotto, we could do Antonio Margarito. That's a possibility. There is also Mundine, who brings a lot to the table with the Australian TV," Arum said.
