The BBC Sport is reporting that former Olympian and undefeated heavyweight Audley Harrison is going to vacate his WBF heavyweight title in order to pursue a career in the United States. Harrison has not fought since last June due to a hand injury and was actually on the verge of being stripped by the WBF for not defending the title.

"Audley is concentrating on a career in the USA which takes a different path to the WBF title. We are grateful for the support we have received from the WBF, but the decision has been made that Audley will be vacating the title." said Audley's business manager Hazel Bruno-Gilbert.

"A-Force Promotions would like to thank (world president) Mick Croucher and the WBF for their support and would like to wish them the best for the future."
