Audley Harrison Knocks Sprott Out in Dramatic Fashion

At the Alexandra Palace in London, heavyweight Audley Harrison (27-4, 20KO) knocked out Michael Sprott (32-15, 17KO) in the twelfth round of a dramatic fight to win the European heavyweight title. Harrison, 38 gets revenge over Sprott, who knocked him out back in 2007.

Sprott dominated most of the early action and was outboxing Harrison for most of the late rounds with his quicker hands and crisper combinations. Harrison appeared to be heading to a decision loss when the twelfth and final round started. Sprott was way ahead on the cards, but Harrison landed a late homerun left hand that put Sprott down and out for the knockout.
