Top Rank Promotions CEO, Bob Arum, confirmed that a deal is being explored for a November event in Singapore featuring eight-division titlist Manny Pacquiao. The Filipino champion is already scheduled to defend his WBO welterweight title on May 7 against three-division, five-time champion, Shane Mosley, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

"I know that Michael went to Singapore and informed them of what we needed in order to do the fight in Singapore. They met with this group -- this very responsible group. And we're supposed to hear back from them by the end of this week. Now, that's as far as it's gone. If they agree, and they put up a deposit, then, you know, we will certainly be able to service that," Arum said.

"We'll be able to do a great, great production out of Singapore. But, you know, right now, there's nothing concrete so I'm not counting on it happening. We are obviously dealing with responsible people, but we haven't got an answer that the guys are definitely doing it there."
