Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum has big plans for Manny Pacquiao's upcoming defense of the WBO welterweight crown against "Sugar" Shane Mosley. Arum, speaking with the Manila Bulletin, vowed to make Pacquiao-Mosley the "greatest boxing show ever.” The card takes place on May 7 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Arum refused to disclose the details of his plan to the paper.

Arum had recently stated to BoxingScene.com that he was interested in placing the Humberto Soto-Urbano Antillon lightweight rematch on the undercard. More than likely, Arum's plan to make the show a great event is not only fight related. Don't be surprised to see some celebrities involved and other extra additives.

Even with the backlash from critics who are upset with Pacquiao's selection of Mosley as the opponent, Arum told the paper "the event is going to be so huge that the revenue to be generated in pay-per-view would be very remarkable as well."

Arum is still putting together the finishing touches on the Pacquiao-Mosley media tour, which is going to take place during the first week of February with New York, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and San Francisco as the mentioned tour locations.
