Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum is convinced that Floyd Mayweather Jr would refuse to fight Manny Pacquiao regardless of the financial terms. Even if Pacquiao offered to fight for free, Arum would expect another refusal. Negotiations to make the Mayweather-Pacquiao super-fight have fallen through a number of times in the last few years. Arum believes the southpaw style and the speed of Pacquiao - create great concern for Mayweather.

"He doesn't want to fight a southpaw. Why? Because his entire defensive style is geared for right-handed fighter. To compound that, if the southpaw is really fast, and moves, that would give Mayweather and his style a lot of trouble. It would really jeopardize Mayweather's undefeated record. That's why the fight is not happening," Arum said.

"Its' almost like before the second World War. Hitler wanted this and Hitler wanted that, but it was never enough. Hitler's dream was to go to war and conquer Europe if not the whole world. Mayweather's dream is to stay undefeated. So whatever you give him [he would say no]. Even if Manny agreed to fight for nothing, it wouldn't be enough. Don't you understand that?"
