Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, who promotes Kubrat Pulev, firmly believes his fighter will knock Anthony Joshua out when they meet in the ring.

Pulev will challenge Joshua for the IBF, WBO, WBA, IBO world titles on June 20th in London.

Arum's company used to promote Andy Ruiz, who shocked the world back in June 2019 when he stopped Joshua.

In that fight, where Ruiz was a massive underdog, he dropped Joshua four times and eventually stopped him the seventh round.

A rematch was held in December, where Joshua changed his tactics and outboxed Ruiz over twelve rounds of action. In the second meeting, Ruiz was overweight, didn't train well and couldn't put his punches together.

Arum explains that Ruiz was never a big puncher and had trouble putting away low level opponents inside the distance - so he believes Pulev, who Arum regards as a big puncher and better fighter, will stop Joshua.

“He has no chin. I knew Andy Ruiz prior to his first fight with Joshua. Every one of Ruiz’s fights except the one previous to that [Alexander Dimitrenko] was promoted by us. So we are experts on Andy Ruiz. We know how good he is, what he lacks, we know he has fast hands, a pretty good chin, but he’s not a knockout guy," Arum said to IFL TV.

"Trust me, look at his record. He fought a lot of ham & eggers and he couldn’t knock them out. The fact that he knocked out Joshua the way he did indicates to me that Joshua’s chin is very, very suspect. If you compare Ruiz with Pulev, Pulev is a much better fighter than Andy Ruiz.

"Therefore, what I’ve said is if Ruiz can knock Joshua out, then Pulev has an even better chance to knock him out."
