Arum Has High Hopes For Miguel Berchelt, Returns 3/30

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum has high hopes for 21-year-old super featherweight contender Miguel "Scorpion" Berchelt (17-0, 14KOs) of Mexico. Berchelt will return to the ring on March 30th at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, as part of the Brandon Rios vs. Mike Alvarado undercard. Berchelt is co-promoted by Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions and Mario Abraham Xacur.
"I have no doubt that he will be a great fighter and a world champion," Arum said. "Berchelt is a strong young man, fast and explosive, and the way he fights is good for the U.S. market. He has talent and he's very dedicated, so it is a pleasure to have him as part of the undercard in Las Vegas."
Berchelt had a very successful 2012, with five wins in five fights - including a two round knockout over 23-0 Oliver Flores.
