There was a huge weekend ticket sale for Pacquiao vs. Morales III 'The Grand Finale' which pushed sales to over 14,000 for the mega fight this Saturday at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas.
Bob Arum of Top Rank said today the gate receipts for 'The Grand Finale' already exceed that of each of the first two championship fights. "We are expecting a full-blast sellout at the Thomas and Mack on Saturday night," said Arum.
Top Rank today announced that a 'Grand Finale' live Closed Circuit telecast will be at Wynn Las Vegas and at The Beach Las Vegas on Convention Center Drive. Tickets will be $50 per person.
The 'Grand Finale' preview show featuring Pacquiao and Morales on Toprank.com smashed all records for 'hits' on the Top Rank website. On Nov. 8, there were 244,577 hits on the Grand Finale preview show - a riveting, compelling show which includes lots of action in the two previous fights plus many interviews. In the last six days, a Top Rank record 756,791 have watched the Grand Finale preview show.
"All of this indicates how hot of an event this really is," said Arum. "I am excited, as is everyone at Top Rank."
