Later today, Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum is planning to meet with Golden Boy President Oscar De La Hoya to discuss future co-promotions.

Times have changed and situations have changed. De La Hoya no longer does business with manager/adviser Al Haymon, and most of his events are popping up on HBO instead of Showtime - key factors which create a smooth business relationship with Top Rank, who refuse to do business with Haymon and all of their major cards are carried on HBO.

"We're having a meeting with Oscar [today] and we're going to discuss the cards that we're going to put together. There are a lot of good fights that can be made. Promoters can talk about fights, but its the fighters who do the fighting," Arum told BoxingScene.com.
