Top Rank's CEO, Bob Arum, told BoxingScene.com that he has spoken to 50 Cent since Floyd Mayweather Jr. was released from jail earlier this month. The rapper apparently is hopeful of becoming the next big-time promoter, and Arum has said he believes he could make a fight between Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao if Mayweather lets 50 Cent promote his side rather than Golden Boy Promotions, which has helped Mayweather promote has past six fights.

A few months ago, 50 Cent formed his own promotional company, TMT Promotions, and signed several fighters - including Yuriorkis Gamboa, Celestino Caballero, Andre Dirrell and Billy Dib.

The exact details of Pacquiao's next fight, mainly the opponent and the date, is still up in the air. With November 10th creeping closer and closer, it's becoming likely that Pacquiao will fight in the month of December. The MGM Grand in Las Vegas is the target venue, and Juan Manuel Marquez, Timothy Bradley and Miguel Cotto are the three potential opponents being considered.
