Team Palle has announced that the former EBU champ at jr. welterweight and welterweight, Thomas Damgaard, will take on Arturo Gatti in a scheduled non-title ten-rounder on January 28 in Atlantic City with Main Events promoting.
Damgaard has already begun training in Copenhagen under Poul Duvill. This is an exciting matchup between two veterans who´s been through a lot in their careers. The winner is likely to be the one who has most left. Gatti must be regarded as a clear favourite, but Damgaard is the kind of fighter you never can write off.
