The Scotsman reports that European and Commonwealth super featherweight champion Alex Arthur could be facing Robbie Peden in an IBF world title eliminator in September. Arthur says the fight is 95% done.

"Peden has emerged as the guy most likely to stand between me and a world title shot with South African IBF champion Cassius Bayol. That will suit me fine as I'm confident that I could beat Peden, whose style is tailor-made for me," Arthur said.

The confident Arthur said that he would even be willing to stage the fight in Peden's backyard of Australia.

"I'd even take the fight against him in Australia as I know he has big financial backers Down Under which means, if the clash went to purse bids, Peden's camp could put in a strong bid to secure the fight at a venue of their choosing."
