Sauerland Event CEO Chris Meyer confirmed to BoxingScene.com that undefeated super middleweight Arthur Abraham will fly back to Berlin, Germany as early as Monday to continue his preparations for his fight against Andre Dirrell on March 27 at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.

Abraham has been training in the United States. The fight was going to happen on March 6 in California but a back injury suffered by Dirrell postponed their fight for a few weeks. Abraham will probably move his camp, directly to Detroit, right after stablemate WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck defends his title against Adam Richards.

The Huck fight is the reason Abraham is heading back home. Ulli Wegner is their mutual trainer and had to return to Germany to finish up with Huck. Once that fight is out of the way, Abraham, Wegner and German middleweight prospect Dominik Britsch, who’s slated to fight on the undercard of Dirrell vs. Abraham, will head back to the United States.
