At the Schleyer-Halle in Stuttgart, Germany, WBA cruiserweight champion Firat Arslan (29-3-1, 18KOs) retained his title with a twelve -ound unanimous decision over Darnell Wilson (23-7-3, 20 KOs). The score was 117-111 on all three cards.
The fight was to be a one-sided affair by ringside observers with Arslan outboxing Wilson early, stopping Wilson's attempt for a late rally and then began to unload with hard punches in the final three-rounds to close the show.
In the co-feature, up and coming heavyweight contender Alexander Dimitrenko (28-0, 17 KOs) stopped Derric Rossy (18-2, 10 KOs) in the fifth-round in what began as a close fight. After four-rounds of even action, Dimitrenko caught Rossy with a left hand that put him in a lot of trouble. Rossy was sent down twice before additional damage forced the ref to stop the fight.
