At the Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, bantamweight McJoe Arroyo (1-0, 1KOs) made his pro debut, stopping Giovanni Rivera (0-3) in the first round. Arroyo chased after Rivera and knocked him down with a big right in the early going. Rivera got up and tried to run for as long as he could to survive the first round. At the start of the second, Arroyo dropped Rivera face first with a big shot, and the ref quickly stopped the fight.

Cruiserweight prospect Carlos Negron (8-0, 6KOs) destroyed Roy Ashworth (5-8, 1KOs) in one round. He knocked Ashworth down with a combination in the first minute. Later he dropped him with a combo to the body. And finished him off with a huge counter to put Ashworth down for the full count.

In a battle of flyweights making their pro debuts, McWilliam Arroyo (1-0, 1KOs) crushed Eliecer Sanchez (0-1) in what seemed to be a minute of the first round. After getting Sanchez in trouble, Arroyo landed a monster right that knocked Sanchez cold for the full count.
