AGUASCALIENTES, MEXICO - Over 17,000 fans came out to La Plaza de Toros Monumental to watch the return of former three time welterweight champion Antonio Margarito (37-6, 27KOs) as he won a dominating ten round decision over Roberto Garcia (28-3, 21KOs) in a junior middleweight contest. Margarito knocked Garcia down in the first round and used his hard punches and high activity rate to win down the stretch. The scores were 99-89, 100-88 and 99-90.

WBA interim super featherweight champion Jorge Solis (39-2-2, 28 KOs) won a twelve round decision over Mario Santiago (21-3-1, 14 KOs). The scores were 119-108, 118-109 an 118-109.

Urbano Antillon (27-1, 20 KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision over Rene Gonzalez (27-1-1, 21 KOs) in a WBA lightweight eliminator. The scores were 100-90, 99-91 and 99-91.

Featherweight contender Mikey Garcia (22-0, 18 KOs) won an eight round unanimous decision over Pedro Navarrete (24-8-3, 13 KOs). The scores were 77-75, 79-75 and 78-74.

Rising Prospect Jose Benavides (5-0, 5 KOs) scored first round knockout at 1:19 when he took out Arnoldo Pacheco (3-6-1, 1 KOs).
