Koblenz, Germany - Former IBF title challenger and EBU super lightweight champ Anthony Yigit, 22-1-1, made a slow start against tough Italian Mohammed Khalladi, 10-8-1, but won a unanimous decision after eight.
It was scored 78-73, 79-74 and 80-71. Yigit had Khalladi on the floor in the sixth after a right hook but it was more of a slip than a punch that caused the knockdown.
Yigit was cut after a clash of heads in the seventh but was by now clearly on top against a tiring but brave opponent.
Middleweight Slawa Spomer, 6-0, outscored tricky spoiler Igor Faníyan, 16-20-3, over eight. Spomer was overall too strong for Faniyan, who showed good defence and at times took Spomer to school but the German kept a high workrate and that won the fight for him.
Female featherweight Sophie Allish won her pro debut knocking out Sopo Kinturashvili 52 seconds into the very first round. Kinturashvili was down twice.
Super welter Jama Saidi, 15-0, retained the IBF European title with over a clear win over hard-punching but technically limited Arman Torosyan, 19-6-1. After twelve it was scored 120-107 and 118-109 for Saidi.
This was a rematch and Saidi won the first fight as well in similar fashion boxing well behind a tight defence. Torosyan was heavily floored in the second after a overhand right landed right on the button but he got up and made it through the round but took quite a beating to the body. Saidi looked a bit soft but used his skills to do a number on Torosyan, who kept loading up on his punches but was too slow and easy to read to do any damage.
Welterweight Yves Barz, 3-0, won a close decision over veteran Andrei Starliarhcuk, 11-32-6, in a good fight set for four rounds.
Super welterweight Feizu Cuhaj knocked out Sabri Ulas Goecmen in the second of the show opener. It was scheduled for four.
