Anthony Mundine (40-4, 24KOs), 35-years-old, wants to continue his goal of winning a title at junior middleweight. He wants to continue his mission of becoming the first man to win three divisional titles going backwards. After dropping from super middleweight, and then to middleweight, he had two bouts at junior middleweight before moving back to middleweight in December when he was knocked out by Garth Wood.
“I want to go for my goal and that’s to be the first man in history to drop three divisions and win titles,” Mundine told Austalia's Sports News First.
There's been a demand for a Wood rematch. Mundine is willing to do it but it depends on the negotiations.
“I would love the rematch it just depends on how negotiations pull through," Mundine said.
