Angel Garcia, father and trainer of WBC/WBA junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia (26-0, 16KOs), believes Amir Khan is still the same fighter who Danny knocked out in four rounds last July in Las Vegas. At that time, Khan (23-3, 19KOs) was being trained by Freddie Roach, but now the British superstar is being handled by Virgil Hunter.

Last Saturday in Sheffield, Khan struggled to a twelve round decision win over Julio Diaz. Khan was dropped in the fourth round and shaken badly in the championship rounds.

Danny returns on September 7th against the winner of the May 18th clash between Lucas Matthysse and Lamont Peterson. Golden Boy Promotions has penciled in December 7th for the return of Khan - who may fight the winner of the September fight.

"Did you see that the other night? Khan is still the same guy, he is still the same guy. He gets hit with everything. The guy got no chin. You saw the fight, he got no chin. Danny would knock him out again, he would do the same thing to him," Garcia told BoxingScene.com.
