Angel Garcia, father and trainer of WBC/WBA junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia (28-0, 16KOs), wants his son to demolish heavy underdog Rod Salka (19-3, 3KOs) on August 9th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

After Danny struggled in a majority decision win over Mauricio Herrera in March. Angel has warned Salka to avoid the idea of taking pointers from that fight. The game plan is simple, says Angel, he wants Danny to redeem himself with a very impressive performance.

"We are going to different now. We are going to come in there and we are going to go to him. We are going to start with the jab and Danny's going to land. If he listens to me that night, he's going to be okay. He is not going to come in there to box. He is going to come there to use the jab to stalk him down and destroy him. That is going to be the game plan...to destroy him. He can run around all he wants. You can run but you can't hide," Angel said to BoxingScene.com.
