Andy Lee is to guide Ben Whittaker into his must-win rematch with Liam Cameron.

The rivals fight again on April 20, at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, England, following the controversial technical draw that was declared when they fell from the ring and Whittaker sustained injuries that left him unable to continue in October in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Whittaker’s training setup has been inconsistent throughout his nine-fight professional career. The 27 year old has worked under both SugarHill Steward and Joby Clayton without settling on a long-term head trainer, but BoxingScene understands he has already trialled training under Lee – who worked with Steward for Tyson Fury – and will relocate to prepare for Cameron out of Dublin, Ireland.

The respected Lee, who spent the majority of his fighting career working under the great Emanuel Steward and Adam Booth, has been instrumental in reviving the career of Joseph Parker.

Parker, on February 22 on the undercard of Artur Beterbiev-Dmitry Bivol II, challenges the IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois.
