Kid Galahad has been added to a pay-per-view undercard.
As previously reported by Boxing Scene, the former British, Commonwealth and European super-bantamweight champion will be back in action on February 4.
Galahad, 26, has a ring record of 21-0 (12 KOs) and is set to feature on the same bill as Renold Quinlan’s IBO super-middleweight title defence against Chris Eubank Jr at the Olympia in London.
The main event, promoted by Poxon Sports in association with Unity Motion, will be exclusively live on ITV Box Office.
The undercard, however, is set to be aired on ITV4.
Galahad was originally set to face Oleg Yefimovych over 12 rounds at featherweight, but his opponent has now been replaced.
Joseph Agbeko, the New York-based Ghanaian (31-5, 23 KOs), will be in the opposite corner over the same distance as the pair battle for a featherweight belt to be confirmed.
Agbeko went the distance with Guillermo Rigondeaux, the current WBA Super 122-pound champion, in 2013 but lost on points.
"It is my toughest test so far in my career,” Galahad said about the fight, “but I will come through it and it will [set me up to] be [ready for] a world title bid very soon.
“He lost to Rigondeaux on points and dropped a majority decision to Abner Mares. He has also beaten Vic Darchinyan.”
Galahad is keen on a clash with IBF featherweight champion Lee Selby, who defends his world title against mandatory challenger Jonathan Victor Barros on January 28 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas and a victory against veteran Agbeko, who was last in action last October, would put him in pole position for a shot at the Welshman.
Elsewhere, Andrew Selby will also be on the bill alongside names already revealed like David Price –– who faces Christian Hammer –– and the mouth-watering super-middleweight title showdown between John Ryder and Adam Etches.
The Welsh wizard, who is the brother of aforementioned IBF featherweight king Lee, has a flawless record since entering the paid code after a glittering amateur career.
The 28-year-old (7-0, 5 KOs) has already claimed British and IBF Inter-Continental honours in his embryonic career as a prize fighter and he will look to add another belt to his collection on the night.
Selby is set to challenge Filipino flyweight Ardin Diale for his WBC International crown.
Diale (32-10-4, 15 KOs) has been a professional for 10 years.
He won the belt in his last fight, which took place in December, against Michael Enriquez.
But the 28-year-old, whose last defeat was to special prospect Daigo Higa for OPBF championship back in July when he was knocked out inside four rounds, will have his work cut out against ‘AC Superstar’.
Meanwhile, Chris Kongo will box on the card and there will be action for Kid Galahad’s gym-mate Jordan Gill as well as Steve Goodwin-managed duo Lucas Ballingall and Jordan Dennis.
