Andres "Jaguar" Gutierrez (31-0-1, 22KOs) is climbing up the ranks and has his sights firmly focused on gold. The young 21-year-old boxer is facing Jhon Gemino (12-3) in Acapulco, Mexico. The fight will be contested over ten rounds.

Gutierrez has been training at the Otomi Ceremonial Center. He hopes the next rankings will give him a huge boost to where he can challenger the current WBC featherweight champion Gary Russell Jr., who captured the title earlier this year with a fourth round knockout of Jhonny Gonzalez.

"I will prove that I'm ready to go hunting for the belt at 126 pounds, where I'm ranked very highly under the prestigious green and gold sanctioning body. My mind is focused on the fight with Gemino, although I can not deny that I have big plans. I want to be world champion and right now my goal is Gary Russell. I have to admit that he is a great fighter," Gutierrez said.

"Gemino Will certainly be a good test to see where I stand. I want to address this challenge in the best way, because the fight will be my debut with Promociones del Pueblo - who will soon secure me the opportunity to go for the world title. It is an opportunity that I 've been waiting for my entire career."
