Copenhagen, Denmark - Team Kimose and Team Vester joined forces for a small hall event, topped by the tallest (219 cm / 7ft 1 1+) heavyweight in the world. Morten "Grand Danois" Poulsen. Poulsen, at close to 300-pounds, was much indeed much bigger than Lithuanian Andrejs Naglis, but size and reach advantage isn´t all and Naglis countered with a right, then another over Poulsen´s pawing left early in the first.
The big Dane, 37 years old and 4-0 in the amateurs, was hurt and never really got into it again. He tried but lost the little boxing he knew and started swinging wildly. Naglis kept his cool, smothered Poulsen and the few clean punches that did land came from him.
In the third Poulsen seemed to hurt his right arm, fell down to a knee and it was stopped after the doctor had inspected the injury with Morten saying "no, no" on the question if he could continue and Naglis was declared the winner on a TKO. It was scheduled for four.
