Promoter Frank Warren is one of the many who feels that Jermain Taylor should not fight Andre Ward in the next stage of the Super Six super middleweight tournament. Taylor, who lost four of his last five fights, including three by knockout, is set to face Ward early next year. Ward just dominated and battered number-one seed Mikkel Kessler to win the WBA title. Taylor was knocked silly in his last bout with Arthur Abraham and most feel that his movement and sharp, quick punching will be way too much for Taylor to deal with.

"Next up for Ward is a defense of his newly-won WBA super-middleweight title against American Jermain Taylor. The challenger is lucky that it's part of the Super Six tournament but how can this fight be sanctioned for a world title? Taylor has lost four of his last five fights, and been sploshed in three of them," Warren said in his Sun column. "By rights, he shouldn't be fighting for a world title."
