Three Filipino boxers won their bouts against Chinese opponents at the Tiangin Sports Arena in Tiangin, China.

Undefeated super flyweight Jerwin “Pretty Boy” Ancajas (12-0-1, 5 KO’s) won a ten round unanimous decision over Xiang Jing who, according to boxrec.com, was only fighting his second bout having dropped a ten round majority decision to Elmar Francisco last December 3.

The 19 year old southpaw Ancajas who won the vacant WBO Asia Pacific title with a ten round unanimous decision over Rex Tito last April 16 and scored an 8th round TKO over tough Jason Egera found a worthy opponent in Xiang Jing.

Light middleweight Joel De La Cruz (16-11-2, 7 KO’s) won by a 4th round TKO over Shi Hongjun who was apparently making his debut in an eight round bout .

De La Cruz was coming off a 2nd round knockout loss to Japan’ undefeated Yoshihiro Kamegai (17-0, 15 KO’s)

Light welterweight and former amateur standout Adonis “The Undertaker” Cabalquinto (9-0, 7 KO’s) scored a 6th round TKO over Gao Yanqing who was also, according to boxrec.com, making his pro debut.

In his last fight on August 6, Cabalquinto was victorious when his opponent Alejandro Anas retired in the 8th round.
