The Philippines No.1 ranked super featherweight Caesar Amonsot gets a crack at the WBO Asia Pacific title of undefeated champion Victor Mausul of Indonesia in a blockbuster fight card in Tagbilaran, Bohol on November 19.

Amonsot, the hard-hitting southpaw from the ALA Gym of well-known boxing patron Tony Aldeguer of Cebu is ranked No. 7 by the WBO Asia Pacific, No. 9 by the Orient Pacific Boxing Federation and No. 4 by the Pan Asia Boxing Association. He has a record of 10-1-1 with 7 knockouts and is coming off a first round KO of Richard Cabillo last July 20.

Mausul who won the vacant WBO Asia Pacific title with a lopsided unanimous decision over Pratet Sor Thanikul of Thailand has a record of 8-0-1 with 4 knockouts and won the Indonesian super featherweight crown defeating Ibrahim Aroby. Aroby gave hard-hitting Randy Suico a tough battle before losing  by an eighth round TKO in October last year.

The fight is expected to be Amonsot’s toughest assignment and a major test of his potential.
