A few days ago heavyweight contender Amir Mansour advised BoxingScene.com that he had signed a contract to fight 2012 US Olympian Dominic Breazeale on January 16 as part of a Showtime televsed card at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
However, Mansour today posted on his Facebook page to say the fight has been cancelled, no further explanation was given.
It remains to be seen if this bout will be rescheduled or if both men will be going down separate paths.
In any case, on the bill Deontay Wilder defends his WBC belt against Artur Szpilka while the vacant IBF title is up for grabs between Charles Martin and Vyacheslav Glazkov.
