TVRI Jakarta - La Amir Laila retained his Indonesian crown after he fought to a draw against Richard Samosir (rating #1 in Indonesia) in an Indonesian Super Bantamweight 10 round bout. The fight was very exciting and saw both fighters exchange punches in each round.
In round 10, Referee Alfonso Sihombing deducted a point from Samosir because of a low blow. Three judges scored it 95-96, 95-95 and 95-94. Now La Amir Laila placed at a ranking of #4 PABA had his record go to 13-3-1 (7KOs), whereas Richard Samosir (rating # 10 PABA) has a record of 14-1-1, (6KOs).
TR Promotions said they will make a rematch for this fight again in one or two months.
In another undercard bout, in the Bantamweight division, Adi Wiguna defeated Alfon Tobing by unanimous decision in 8 rounds. This fight was supervised by the Indonesian Boxing Asociation (IBA).
Indosiar TV Jakarta - In a fight in the super featherweight division, Afrizal (rated #3 in the Indonesian rankings) won a split decision in 8 rounds over Abi Metiaman. Another bout in same weight class, Irvan Bone won a unanimous decision in 8 rounds over Primus Palue.
