Amir Khan has announced a three fight deal with Sky Sports TV.  It will begin with his WBA/IBF 140lb December 10th showdown against Lamont Petersen in Washington DC.  The contest is expected to air on Sky Sports 1.

Amir split with the network after they downgraded his April meeting with Paul McCloskey from PPV to regular Sky.  The decision prompted a move to Primetime, a UK PPV outlet, only for Amir to return to the channel for the Petersen test.

The bout with Petersen, 29-1-1 (15), will be Khan's sixth defence of his WBA belt, the first of his IBF crown, the Boltonian is 26-1 (18) and reaching his peak.  Amir has Tweeted that the move was made in order to give his fans a chance to catch his US fights without having to go PPV.
