Amir Khan Says: 'Me and Maidana Have Signed To Fight!'

According to WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan, both he and Marcos Maidana have signed the contracts to fight each other on December 11. Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer had told BoxingScene.com's Lem Satterfield the fight will probably happen at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. HBO will televise in the United States and Sky Sports in the UK.

"All legality work for the next fight has been done. Fight has been signed by both parties. Khan vs. Maidana, December 11th, venue to be confirmed, on HBO Boxing and Sky," Khan wrote on his personal Twitter page.

If a deal has indeed been reached, a scheduled purse bid for September 21 will not take place.
