Unbeaten welterweight Kell Brook, and WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan, have spoken to each other and settled their dispute. An article appeared in the Sheffield Star, which quoted Brook, and blasted Khan.

“When we got in the ring I pasted him,” insisted Brook when speaking to The Sheffield Star.  “That's what happened, not the other way round like he's saying.  The fact is he is dodging me.  I read that Frank offered Amir £1.5m to fight me but it was bigger than that.  He doesn't want it – but I'd love the opportunity.  He is a nice lad but perhaps over-rated, he is fast but has a rubbish chin.”

Khan would later return fire on his personal twitter account, but later came back and revealed that he spoke to Brook, who told him the Sheffield paper had fudged his statements to create some hype.

"Been speaking to Kell Brook. He also admits it's hyped by the papers. We both agree in the future [to have] a fight but not just yet. Anyway good luck to him. All cleared up," Khan wrote.
