WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan is focused on making his name in America but he also wants to bring the big names across the ocean. Khan wants to fight in England at the end of the July and then return to the United States in the fall. Khan made his American debut last Saturday in New York's Madison Square Garden. He stopped Paulie Malignaggi in eleven rounds.

"I love the feeling of fighting in the United States. I want to come back. I want to fight in Las Vegas. Next I want to return to England and make a fight for my British fans. I'd like to fight in the UK next. I want to bring the big fights to the UK. There are going to be bigger and better fights for the UK fans," Khan said to BoxingScene.com.

Khan is planning to relax after his big win and then he wants to push for a tournament at junior welterweight. He wants to fight WBA interim-champion Marcos Maidana and for WBO champ Tim Bradley to face WBC/IBF champ Devon Alexander, and then the two winners face off in a final bout.

"I want a break first. I want to relax and chill out. I'd like to fight Marcos Maidana next and I want to unify the titles. I'll fight Maidana, and let Timothy Bradley fight Devon Alexander and I'll fight the winner at the end. I would love to do that just to prove that I'm the best. I'm not being big-headed or anything but I think I'm better than these guys," Khan said.

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer is mulling over the idea of placing Khan's July fight in a split-feed format with the July 31 pay-per-view featuring the Juan Manuel Marquez-Juan Diaz rematch in Las Vegas.

"There's talk of a date in July and we have to see what we can do," said Schaefer. "We could do a split bill with Amir fighting in the UK and then go across to Manuel Marquez and Juan Diaz at Mandalay Bay. That would be some double-header. I would then like to see the winner of Marquez-Diaz fight Amir. I think that would be a great fight."
